John's Grandfather was a goldminer in Central Otago who bought land at St Bathans. It was farmed by the Morgan Family until 1993 when John and Barbara made the move to Coastal East Otago to farm deer.
John tells many stories on his deer farm tour. This has proved to be very enjoyable and popular. It also provides the opportunity to take close up photos of the deer.
